Preface

The following blog is dedicated to Nick Manghelli who will be doing a tour in Iraq over the next year or so. The purpose of this is to let Nick stay connected the American way of life.

This blog will focus on events in my life that revolve around food, beverage or preferably both. By food I mean fine dining or intriguing restaurants I may be privileged enough to eat at. Also, any food I paid less than the listed price for. These particular anecdotes will most likely involve beverages as well. When I speak of beverages, I mean beer, wine or spirits. These beverages will be consumed in large quantities and I will write about the tales that follow.
